Multiple Tenure-track faculty positions for Fall 2026

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Rutgers University–New Brunswick invites applications for invites applications to apply for tenure-track positions in 1) RF/Antenna systems and wireless sensors; 2) Security, especially in information security and AI/machine learning security; 3) AI for domain applications, especially next-generation networking, healthcare, and embodied AI; 4) Quantum communication and sensing.

The Department seeks to fill multiple openings in Fall 2026 for full-time, academic-year, tenure-track faculty appointments. Possible ranks include Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. We invite applications from candidates engaged in cutting-edge research across the breadth of electrical and computer engineering. Evaluation will emphasize the creativity, originality, and potential impact of the candidate’s scholarly work. We especially welcome applicants in the research areas listed above. Successful candidates will be expected to teach courses in electrical and computer engineering at both the undergraduate and graduate levels; develop a research program, and secure external funding to support it; work in a highly collaborative, interdisciplinary environment; and engage in existing and future large-scale collaborative research endeavors.

Non-tenure-track teaching faculty position for Fall 2026

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) in the School of Engineering at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey invites applications for one full-time, non- tenure-track (NTT) engineering faculty position. The position is primarily at the Assistant Professor level; however, exceptional candidates may be considered for appointment at the Associate or Full Professor level. Successful applicants are expected to teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the following areas: elementary level circuits and synthesis, electronic devices, digital system design. The expected start date is September 1, 2026. The initial appointment will be for two years and renewable subject to enrollment needs, availability of funding, and performance.
