Ed Cordero

Ed is a former Managing Director at JP Morgan Chase. During his eight years at JP Morgan, Ed has had several senior roles covering Cyber Security, Technology Controls, and Production Management. He also led teams performing strategic programs that included Agile/DevOps transformations and Cloud enablement.

He has a long and distinguished career on Wall Street having also worked at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs. His started his career at Goldman Sachs as a mainframe application development programmer and evolved along with technology to become proficient in multiple programming languages while steadily growing his management responsibilities. Ed’s career trajectory has taken him through application development, infrastructure engineering, production assurance, cyber security, and technology risk & controls.

Ed received his Bachelor’s degree from Pace University in Management and Information Systems. He has also received several licenses and certifications in technology and finance as part of his continuing education. Ed has a long standing relationship with Rutgers University having served as the technology recruiting captain for RU while at JP Morgan. He has worked closely with the faculty and staff on developing programs to attract technology talent to Financial Services. Ed is also an advocate for Diversity & Inclusion working with various organizations to advance the opportunities for minorities and the under-privileged.
