I am a Research Professor at Rutgers University and member of the Advanced Distributed Cyberinfrastructure and Applications Laboratory (RADICAL). I work on the project 'Abstractions and Integrated Middleware for Extreme Scales' (AIMES) funded by the Department of Energy (DoE). I hold a DPhil (PhD) in Computer Science from the University of Oxford and my main research interests are in parallel and distributed computing and software design for distributed infrastructures.

•    2009 Winner of the 2009 Brian Michael Goldberg Memorial Award. In recognition of my work on Computer Ethics “Translating Ethical Requirements into Software Specification”. Philosophy Department, Carnegie Mellon University, PA, USA.

•    2006 Recipient of a three-year scholarship, e-Horizons Institute, for the project: “The Oxford e-Social Science (OeSS) Project: ethical, legal and institutional dynamics of grid-enabled e-sciences”. University of Oxford, UK.
