Graduate Director's Advising Hours
Fall 2024 Office Hours are on most Thursdays from 5-6 pm both in-person in EE-134B and on Zoom

Email: Please use email for any formal requests, personalized requests, private matters, etc.; always send an email to the ECE Graduate Director at ecegraddirector@soe.rutgers.edu  Please DO NOT use the Graduate Director's personal email address for graduate office matters, as this will delay matters. 

Signatures: The signing of all paperwork will be done electronically. Students should use the DocuSign system to obtain digital signatures on forms. DocuSign is Rutgers’ chosen secure electronic signature system to replace paper-intensive processes. Students can request a new account by going to https://www.docusign.com. Enter your email address/username as NetID@rutgers.edu when prompted. Log in to your new DocuSign account by going to https://account.docusign.com. Visit the site https://eds.rutgers.edu/docusign for training and support resources

The Graduate Director handles:
•    Course transfers
•    Non-degree admissions
•    Interviews with prospective students
•    Academic advising and course selections
•    Immigration, CPT, and visa issues
•    TA/GA and Fellowship funding
•    Academic standing problems

The Graduate Program Coordinator handles:
•   Admissions Inquiries
•   General Academic Advising
•   SPN Requests for the ECE Department
•   Dissertation Defense, Proposal, and Qualifying Exam Scheduling 
•  Graduation Paperwork

Modes of Communication

You can communicate with the graduate office through the following means:

• Email: Please contact the ECE Graduate Program Coordinator at ecegradprogram@soe.rutgers.edu. Please DO NOT use the Graduate Program  Coordinator's personal email address for graduate office matters, as this will cause delays.
• Discord: Rutgers ECE also runs a Discord server and you can sign up on it for communications with the Graduate Director and your peers. You can join the Discord server using the link https://discord.com/invite/7fRdRXe Please choose your role as Graduate Student so that the #grad-chat channel is accessible to you.
